Polymers for Europe Alliance has suspended online voting by converters on Europe’s leading plastics producers because of exceptional “market turmoil”, an unprecedented situation that is causing serious problems in polymer availability, costs and price volatility.
The organisers believe the current market instability makes it impossible to take a balanced view of suppliers’ performance, as required under the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2026.
Further details will be provided at the EuPC Annual Meeting, scheduled for 2 June.
Launched in 2016 by EuPC’s Polymers for Europe Alliance, the Polymer Producers Awards are intended to foster constructive dialogue and effective communication between polymer suppliers and users in Europe.
