Elmet managementElmet, the Austrian manufacturer of equipment and moulds for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) processing, has announced the appointment of Markus Nuspl (pictured, third from left) as CEO, succeeding Harald Wallner.

A mining engineer with a PhD, Nuspl brings more than 20 years of industry experience, along with extensive expertise in silicone processing, quality management, innovation and corporate development. He joins from RICO Elastomere Projecting, a manufacturer of LSR components and moulds, where he held the same role.

“Elmet has outstanding employees, a strong technological foundation, and an excellent reputation in the market. Together, we want to further build on these strengths,” the manager said. “My goal is to combine innovation, quality, and economic success with a corporate culture in which responsibility is embraced, trust grows, and collaboration is put into practice.”

Elmet Smart Silicone Solutions has been active since 1996 in the supply of machinery, moulds and systems for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) processing. The company is headquartered in Austria and has branches in China, Japan and the United States. Its portfolio includes dosing systems, single- and multi-component moulds, turnkey solutions, and services ranging from development to series production.
