Sphere changes ownership and expands

The French group acquires two companies in Italy as the transfer to the private equity firm Hivest Capital is completed.

virosacSphere, a French producer of compostable, biobased packaging and materials for films and bags, will come under the control of private equity firm Hivest Capital following a recent agreement. The deal transfers the majority stake to Hivest Capital, while a minority share remains with the current owners: the Persenda family, along with some managers and employees.
