Based in the Mirandola medical district near Modena, Sidam specialises in supplying tubing systems for the preparation, handling and administration of complex medical substances used in radiology, radiopharmaceuticals, cell therapy and oncology. The company was previously controlled by Mindful Capital Partners.

The Italian company’s current management team, led by CEO Annalisa Azzolini, will join Plastiflex’s management team, while all Sidam production and research facilities will continue to operate at their current locations.

Founded in 1991 in Mirandola, in the province of Modena, Sidam specialises in the design and manufacture of single-use fluid management sets for the preparation, handling and administration of complex medical substances. The company operates four ISO 7 cleanrooms and employs more than 200 people in the Mirandola medical district.

Plastiflex manufactures tubing systems and components for healthcare and industrial applications. With 12 production facilities and around 1,500 employees, the group generates approximately €200 million in revenue.
