Xaloy adds twin screw capability

U.S.-based specialist in wear- and corrosion-resistant screws and barrels acquires Canada’s Ultimate Twin Screws.

September 12, 2025 14:09

Ultimate Twin Screws (UTS)Xaloy, specialized in the supply of wear- and corrosion-resistant screws and barrels, has expanded its portfolio to include twin screw technology by acquiring Canadian company Ultimate Twin Screws (UTS), which has now been renamed Xaloy Canada Corporation.

For the U.S. company, this represents a natural extension of its existing offering in single-screw and twin-barrel technology.

"This acquisition reinforces our commitment to serving customers with the broadest and most innovative solutions in the industry," said Andrew Brickman, chairman of Xaloy. "By adding twin screws to our portfolio, we strengthen our ability to partner with customers in solving their toughest processing challenges while advancing our long-term growth strategy."

With over 90 years of experience, Xaloy provides screws, barrels, and components designed for high resistance to wear and corrosion for the polymer processing industry, in applications such as extrusion, compounding, and injection molding. Headquartered in Austintown, Ohio, the company also operates in Europe through its subsidiary in Germany.
