A pilot plant for the chemical recycling of plastic waste from flexible packaging, built by UK-based Greenback Recycling Technologies (read article), was started up in mid-December at Amcor’s facility in Heanor, England.
The project is supported by the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a consortium of companies from the plastics and packaging sectors committed to preventing environmental littering.
