kebo plastisud dealSwiss mould maker KEBO has joined the Plastisud group, a major French player in the design and construction of high-precision multi-cavity moulds for injection moulding.

Founded in 1979 by Alfons Keller and Charles Bodenmann and based in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, in the canton of Schaffhausen, KEBO is a family-owned company specialising in high-precision injection moulds and hot-runner technology, with a strong focus on the medical, pharmaceutical and thin-wall packaging sectors. The company remains linked to the second generation of the founding families, through Gerold Keller and Daniel Bodenmann.

Following the transaction, the group has around 300 employees. KEBO will serve as a centre of excellence for the medical/pharmaceutical and laboratory sectors.

The Swiss company complements Plastisud’s portfolio in closures, packaging and medical applications, opening up new opportunities in the medical/pharmaceutical and laboratory sectors, particularly in the fast-growing segment of drug-delivery devices.
