Arterex adds mold-making to its portfolio

With the acquisition of Eurostamp, based in northern Italy, the group strengthens its contract manufacturing platform for medical devices.

Eurostamp Modena, ItalyArterex, the contract manufacturing platform for plastic medical products created by Italian investment company Investindustrial, has announced the acquisition of Eurostamp, a Novi di Modena-based company in northern Italy specialising in the design and manufacture of injection molds.

Founded in 1989 by Claudio Zenoni and Fausto Lugli, Eurostamp supplies molds for applications in the medical, packaging and cosmetics sectors, managing the entire production cycle in-house, from design to manufacture and testing. According to the buyer, the two founders will remain at the helm of the company to ensure operational continuity.

The addition of Eurostamp further broadens Arterex’s industrial scope, which now covers mold building, extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, compounding and assembly.

Arterex was established in 2022 through the combination of four companies: US-based Formula Plastics and Italian companies Kabo, Luc & Bel and ModenPlast. A year later, it acquired North America’s NextPhase and, in 2024, expanded with the addition of Micromold, followed by the recent acquisitions of Phoenix, Adroit, Xponent Global, Synecco and, most recently, Eurostamp. The group now operates 16 facilities in the United States, Mexico, Egypt, India, Ireland and Italy, with more than 2,300 employees. Its contract manufacturing activities focus on Class I, II and III medical devices.
