The former CFO succeeds Jens Kaatze at the helm of the Otto Krahn Group’s compounding business.

Dirk Sadowski ceo mocomDirk Sadowski (pictured) has been CEO of Mocom Compounds since September 1. The German company, part of the Otto Krahn Group, specialises in the formulation and production of polymer compounds.

He succeeds Jens Kaatze, who had led the company since May 2023 and is leaving by mutual agreement.

Sadowski provides management continuity from within the company, having joined Mocom’s management team as CFO in September 2020. Before that, he worked at consultancy Horváth & Partners, where he served as Head of Business Segment Organization & Operations Chemical & Oil Industries.

In his new role, he will focus, among other areas, on the company’s operational development and transformation programmes.

Mocom was established in 2020 following the separation of Albis’s distribution and compounding activities. Both businesses are part of the Otto Krahn Group, the Hamburg-based holding company with operations in plastics and chemicals distribution, compounding and other sectors.
