The integration of Belgium-based Domo Engineered Materials with the High Performance Polymers and Specialty Chemicals businesses of Italy’s RadiciGroup, both acquired by Lone Star Funds, is entering its operational phase.
From October 6, 2026, the DOMO corporate identity will gradually be replaced by the RadiciGroup name, which has been chosen for the new global organisation in polyamide compounds and high-performance engineering polymers.
The transition will cover technical and commercial documentation, product and production documentation layouts, packaging and labels, promotional materials, websites and digital channels. Employee email addresses will also gradually migrate from the domo.org domain to radicigroup.com, with the process expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2027. Some legal entities will also be renamed.
The changeover will not be immediate, however, with the DOMO and RadiciGroup brands expected to coexist for around three months on certain products and materials.
Product brands, product names, specifications and technical performance will remain unchanged.
In particular, Technyl and Radilon will continue to identify their respective engineering polymer families, while the Technyl logos have already been partially updated to align with the new corporate identity.
The first visible sign of the integration will come at Fakuma, taking place in Friedrichshafen from October 12 to 16. The new offering will be presented at two stands, Hall A1, Stand 1104, and Hall B4, Stand 4216, bringing the Radilon and Technyl families together under the new common organisation.
The industrial integration process began in the spring. Lone Star completed the acquisition of RadiciGroup’s High Performance Polymers and Specialty Chemicals businesses on April 30 and of DOMO Engineered Materials on May 12, appointing Jochen Fabritius (pictured) to lead the new platform.
