Less than two years after its acquisition, Italian group Inn-Flex is set to double the production capacity of Papir Print, the Serbian company specialising in flexible packaging for the food and beverage sector.

Installation of two new printing lines at the Gornji Milanovac plant is nearing completion. The equipment forms part of an €11.5 million investment plan aimed at expanding production capacity and upgrading the Serbian site’s technology.

“Within a month, we will have doubled our production capacity,” says David Tomasin, CEO of Inn-Flex. “The objective is not only to increase volumes, but also to strengthen the plant’s competitiveness, broaden the range of solutions offered to customers and create the conditions for a strong push in exports.”

The investment further strengthens Inn-Flex’s presence in the Balkans, where the group also operates through Vopachel Doo and Fox-Pac.

The production expansion is being accompanied by strengthened local management. Since last September, Nemanja Bilanovic has served as General Manager of Papir Print, with operational responsibility for activities at the site.

Inn-Flex is headquartered in San Giovanni al Natisone, in the province of Udine in north-eastern Italy, and has been active in flexible packaging since 2005. Its production chain includes polyethylene film extrusion, printing, lamination and bag converting.
In addition to the parent company, Vopachel operates in Villesse, Italy, while the group’s Serbian activities are carried out through Vopachel Doo, Fox-Pac and Papir Print.
Inn-Flex closed 2025 with revenues of €78 million and expects to exceed €85 million in 2026. Overall, the group employs around 400 people across Italy and Serbia.
