5,500 Tons for automotive

[VIDEO] We visited Engel's technology center in St. Valentin to witness the duo combi press with a 5,500-ton clamping force in action, molding large battery components for automotive applications.

December 4, 2024 15:15

We took advantage of the Battery Innovation Day, an event held on November 13th at Engel's Austrian headquarters, to visit the technology center, where a 5,500-ton duo combi injection molding press has been operational for a few months. This machine is used for demonstrations and application development with clients.

Our exploration of the machine and its applications was guided by Matteo Terragni, Managing Director of Engel Italia.
