Versalis outlines its new plan to the government and unions

The chemical company of the ENI group has met with the Italian Ministry of Industry to discuss the conversion of its operations in Sicily.

versalisIn recent days, the first meeting between the company, the government, and trade unions took place in Rome at the Italian Ministry of Industry (MIMIT) to review the conversion plan for basic chemical operations—ethylene cracking and polyethylene—announced by Versalis, the chemical subsidiary of the Italian ENI group (read the article).

Versalis provided detailed explanations of the initiatives planned for its two Sicilian sites in Priolo and Ragusa, while plans for a third site in Brindisi (Puglia) will be addressed in a meeting scheduled for January next year.
