Eigenmann & Veronelli spins off manufacturing

The new company, EV Produzione, born from the industrial division, will operate two plants in Italy.

EV produzione italian plantThe Italian distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients, Eigenmann & Veronelli, has spun off its manufacturing operations, transferring them to the newly established EV Produzione.

The new company operates two plants in Northern Italy—San Martino di Trecate (NO) and Tradate (VA)—each with its own internal research center. It employs 90 people and generates a consolidated turnover of more than €40 million.

Production focuses on mixtures, emulsions, defoamers, esters, metal soaps and other chemical specialties used in the cosmetics, rubber and plastics, surface coatings, home care, and institutional and industrial cleaning industries, as well as numerous other applications.

The industrial plan includes significant investments aimed at ensuring a combination of high standards and versatility in products, offering the market innovative and cutting-edge solutions designed to address current environmental challenges.

"The research centers, combined with the manufacturing plants, will enable us to assume a decisive and leading role in advanced technologies for specialty chemicals, both locally and globally."

Founded in 1910 and headquartered in Pero, near Milan, Eigenmann & Veronelli operates in the distribution of specialty chemicals and food ingredients. The company has a direct presence in Italy, the Iberian Peninsula, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, and an indirect presence in more than 45 countries worldwide. In 2024, the company reported consolidated revenues of €347 million and employed approximately 350 people.
