Sirmax steps up in E/E

New Electrical & Electronics division and €3 million investment to expand in high-performance polymer applications across Italy and India.

sirmax san vito tagliamentoThe Italian compounder Sirmax has officially launched a new Electrical & Electronics business unit aimed at expanding its portfolio of engineering plastics for the E/E industry — a natural extension of its well-established presence in the household appliances sector.

To support the new division, Sirmax is investing €3 million in laboratories, UL certifications and dedicated personnel. Research and development will be conducted at the company’s site in San Vito al Tagliamento (Pordenone, northern Italy), where its engineering plastics production is based, and in Palwal, India, where a recent revamping project has doubled local production capacity (see article).
