German distributor Biesterfeld, active in plastics, rubber and specialty chemicals, has secured exclusive distribution rights from Lanxess for polymer additives in Central and Eastern Europe.

The agreement covers a broad portfolio of specialty plasticizers and flame retardants intended for use in construction, electronics and automotive applications.

Product lines included in the deal are marketed under the brands Acetine, Adimoll, Bayhibit, Baypure, Baymod, Baysolvex, Bonding Agents, Disflamoll, Epiphos, K-flex, Levagard, Mesamoll, Mersolat, Modulast, Triacetin, TBP, TIBP, Ultramoll, Unimoll and Vitroflex.

The commercial agreement spans approximately 15 countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
