Investindustrial acquires majority stake in Piovan

Pentafin and 7-Industries Holding are selling their shares to Automation Systems. A takeover bid for the remaining shares and delisting is expected. Pentafin will retain a 25% stake.

Piovan headquarterPrivate equity firm Investindustrial, through its subsidiary Automation Systems, has acquired a majority stake in the Italian group Piovan, a leading provider of automation systems for the storage, transportation, and treatment of polymers, plastics, and food powders.
