rendering Wittmann Robot KunshanThe Wittmann Group has announced a significant expansion in China, where it is investing more than 10 million euros. The production site in Kunshan, currently focused on robots and auxiliary equipment (temperature controllers, materials handling equipment, dryers and granulators), will undergo a major expansion.

The Wittmann Robot plant will double in size, reaching a total of 15,000 square meters by the autumn of 2025. Starting that year, it will also produce injection molding machines specifically for the Asian market.

During the Fakuma press conference, Wittmann's president, Michael Wittmann, revealed the group's strategic plans and discussed the company's financial performance. Although they anticipate a 10% revenue decline in 2024, with sales estimated between €360 million and €370 million, improvements are expected in 2025, with forecasted revenue growth of 5% to 10%.
While Western European markets have shown weaker demand, there has been promising growth in Eastern Europe.

Wittmann continues to invest in expanding its operations worldwide, with recent developments in India and ongoing projects in Hungary and Turkey.

At Fakuma 2024, Wittmann will showcase four injection molding cells with automation, eight robots, and more than 60 auxiliary equipment items.
