Tosaf new poland plant masterbatchTosaf is strengthening its presence in the European market by opening a new plant in Olkusz, Poland, scheduled to start operations in the second quarter of the year with an initial production capacity of 3,000 tonnes per year.

Covering 5,500m², the new facility also includes a laboratory for formulating colour masterbatches tailored to different application requirements.

The plant is located around 40km from Kraków, in the heart of Central Europe, in a strategic position to supply Poland, Ukraine and the wider region.

“This investment reflects our commitment to getting closer to our customers, not only geographically but also operationally,” says Iryna Maydych, Managing Director of Tosaf Polska Color Sp. z o.o. “By combining local production with Tosaf’s global know-how, we can respond more quickly, collaborate more closely, and deliver solutions that are increasingly aligned with our customers’ day-to-day needs.”

Tosaf produces colour and additive masterbatches at 22 plants, nine of them in Europe, and employs more than 1,600 people overall.
