The 2026 edition of Chinaplas, Asia’s leading trade fair — and perhaps the world’s largest — for the rubber and plastics industry, closed with new records for both exhibitors and visitors. Exhibitor numbers exceeded 5,000, up 11%, across an exhibition area of 390,000 square metres, completely filling the 16 halls of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC).

This year’s show attracted 350,189 visitors over four days, marking a 24.5% increase compared with 2025, when the event was held in Shenzhen, and an 8.8% rise in the more directly comparable 2024 Shanghai edition.
