Olin and Huntsman agree all-stock merger

The combination will integrate chlor-alkali assets, polyurethane systems and formulation expertise to strengthen scale and synergies.

huntsman headquartersU.S.-based Olin Corporation, one of the leading chlor-alkali producers, will merge with Texas-based Huntsman to create OlinHuntsman, headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas.
The combined chemical group will have pro forma revenue of $12.5 billion, supported by diversified, upstream-integrated operations.

The transaction will be structured as an all-stock merger of equals. Huntsman shareholders will receive 0.5476 Olin shares for each Huntsman share held. Upon completion, Olin shareholders will own approximately 54.5% of the combined company, with Huntsman shareholders owning approximately 45.5%.
