Jim Hoffman to lead TRIA America

The former Executive Vice President will strengthen the company’s position in the North American plastics size-reduction market.

Jim Hoffman Tria AmericaJim Hoffman (pictured), has been appointed President of TRIA America, the North American subsidiary of the Italian manufacturer of granulators and complete lines for the size reduction of plastic waste. He previously served as Executive Vice President.

Hoffman will be responsible for strengthening the company’s market presence and consolidating customer partnerships.

“Jim’s promotion reflects his deep industry expertise, proven leadership, and commitment to customer success,” said Luciano Anceschi, Executive Chairman & Group CEO of TRIA. “We are confident he will continue to advance TRIA America’s growth and support to our customers.”

Hoffman has long-standing experience in the plastics size-reduction industry. Before joining TRIA in August 2025, he worked for 34 years at Rapid Granulator, ultimately serving as President and Head of Marketing and Sales.

TRIA America was established in 2010 as the group’s third foreign subsidiary, following those set up in Brazil and Germany, to serve the North American market more closely.
