Hoffman joins Tria America

With more than three decades of leadership in plastics granulation, the manager becomes executive VP to expand the company’s U.S. presence.

tria america hoffman AnceschiTria, the Italian manufacturer of granulators and complete systems for the size reduction of plastic scrap, has appointed Jim Hoffman (pictured left) as the new executive vice president of Tria America, its U.S. subsidiary.

Hoffman brings extensive experience in the plastics granulation industry. Before joining Tria last August, he spent 34 years at Rapid Granulator, ultimately serving as president and head of marketing and sales.

“It is an honor for me to join Tria America and contribute to its growth, innovation and development of new opportunities as we shape the future of plastic recycling together,” commented Hoffman. “Tria’s values and vision mirror my own principles, and I look forward to contributing to the success and growth of our company.”

Tria America was established in 2011 as the company’s third international subsidiary, following Brazil and Germany, to closely serve the North American market.
