Swiss group MAAG, a manufacturer of auxiliary equipment for plastics processing and part of US-based Dover Corporation, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cloeren, a long-established supplier of flat extrusion dies and feedblocks headquartered in Orange, Texas, with manufacturing sites in Marshall, Texas; Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and Micheldorf, Austria.

“Cloeren is a strong strategic fit for MAAG and will further enhance our capabilities in extrusion applications,” said Ueli Thuerig (pictured), President of the Swiss group. “The addition of Cloeren’s technologies and engineering expertise expands our solutions offering and strengthens our ability to support customers with highly engineered, mission-critical equipment.”

The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Within MAAG, the US company will join the AMN, Automatik, Ettlinger, Gala, MAAG, Reduction, Scheer, Witte, Xantec and Sikora brands.

MAAG operates through four divisions: Pump & Filtration Systems, Pelletizing & Pulverizing Systems, Recycling Systems, and Measurement & Control Systems. It employs more than 1,900 people at production sites in Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, the United States and China.
