Nicola Strazzeri (pictured) has been named CEO of Impact Formulators Group, the new group for masterbatches, created at the end of last year through the aggregation of Italian firms Ultrabatch and Masterbatch under the umbrella of the private equity company Koinos Capital.
Under the leadership of Nicola Strazzeri, Impact Formulators Group consolidates and strengthens its project for the creation and development of a hub of excellence in the strategic masterbatch segment, a fast-growing sector with considerable fields of application. The group has a turnover of approximately €40 million and aims to more than doubling it in the coming years.

BIOGRAPHY . Born in Italy, 59, Nicola Strazzeri has more than 20 years of experience in the plastics and industrial sectors, both in Italy and abroad. A graduate in Computer Science, Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Turin, with a master’s degree in business intelligence from Cefriel - Politecnico di Milano, Strazzeri began his career by founding a consulting company.
In 1998, he joined the plastics sector at Bayer Material Science - Sheet Europe (the sheet division of Bayer Material Science) - of which he became a member of the Board of Directors and Sales Director EMEA-LATAM - and then served as General Manager of the subsidiary Koscon Industrial, headquartered in Switzerland.
Returning to Italy, in 2018 he served as Managing Director for the two local branches of the multinational Roechling - global leader in the production of semi-finished techno polymers - while, in 2022, he joined Vink - a leading European company in the plastics distribution and processing sector - and became CEO of the newly-established Italian branch, for which he led the reorganisation and restructuring project by developing the business both organically and through acquisitions. Permanent Speaker at the European Institute for Industrial Leadership (EIIL), he was also Chairman of the Rubber and Plastics section of Confindustria CNVV between 2019 and 2022.
