China puts anti-dumping duties on POM

Imports of polyacetal from the U.S., EU, Taiwan and Japan hit with tariffs of up to 74.9%

china antidumping duties on POMFollowing months of investigation, China’s Ministry of Commerce has announced the imposition of definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymers from the United States, the European Union, Taiwan and Japan.
The decision comes after authorities determined that low-priced imports were harming domestic producers. Provisional tariffs had already been introduced earlier this year.
