September 13, 2024 14:59

PolyvantisPolyvantis was officially established on Sept. 1, 2024, resulting from the merger of Röhm's Acrylic Products division, which includes semi-finished PMMA products, with the Functional Forms business unit of Saudi Arabia's Sabic.

The portfolio includes films, transparent and opaque sheets, tubes, and rods in polymethylmethacrylate and polycarbonate for applications in building and construction, transportation, electrical and electronics, and home and gardening products.
The brands are well-positioned in the market: Plexiglas (Acrylite in America) for PMMA and Lexan for polycarbonate semi-finished products.

The new company's production structure includes 15 production sites in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa, with more than 1,500 employees.
The board composition has already been announced, with Sandeep Dhawan serving as chief executive officer (CEO), Peter Stubbe as chief financial officer (CFO), and Wolfgang Pöffel as chief transformation and integration officer.

“The combination of coveted brands under one umbrella will enable growth for our customers. We will join forces to harness our innovative strength, build holistic solutions for our customers and create a stronger presence worldwide,” said Sandeep Dhawan, Chief Executive Officer -. “With many years of experience in technology and product development, Polyvantis will provide unique and unparalleled technical and application-based expertise.”
