The promoter of the Packaging Innovation Awards, now in its 35th edition, the U.S. group Dow, has announced a shortlist of 28 finalists. From these, the winners will be selected to receive Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Special Awards.
The awards ceremony will be held on Oct. 24 during the Tokyo Pack event, which will also showcase the projects that made it to the podium.
Evaluated for innovations in technological advancement, sustainability, and user experience, the packaging finalists were selected in June by an international jury, in which Dow did not participate to ensure impartiality. This year, there were over 300 submissions, almost double those of the previous edition, marking the highest number since the competition's inception.
