Jan Willem Wieringa (pictured) is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Exolon Group, a European manufacturer of solid and multiwall sheets. He succeeds Jens Becker, who has led Exolon since its creation in 2020, when Covestro’s sheet activities were transferred to the Serafin Group.
According to the company, Wieringa brings extensive international leadership experience in the plastics and manufacturing industries. He has served in several CEO roles and is known for his strategic clarity, hands-on approach and strong focus on people and performance. These qualities make him an ideal fit to lead Exolon Group—both professionally and culturally.
Part of the Serafin Group, Exolon extrudes polycarbonate and polyester sheets at its plants in Tielt, Belgium, and Nera Montoro, Italy. The sheets are sold worldwide under the Exolon, Axpet, Vivak and Inspria brands.
