On Oct. 7-9, 2024, the Italian manufacturer of extrusion and recycling plants, Amut, will host the Green Extrusion Days at its Headquarters in Novara, Italy.
The event, featuring presentations by experts, will showcase the latest developments in plastic waste treatment technologies.
During the three-day event, the highlight will be a live demonstration of a bottle-to-packaging process, with a fully operational food-grade rPET sheet extrusion line equipped with the Erema MPR reactor.
The process begins with post-consumer PET flakes, producing a 100% rPET monolayer thermoforming sheet that complies with food contact standards. The sheet will be 1,200 mm wide and range in thickness from 0.15 mm to 1.5 mm, achieving output of up to 1,400 kg/h and a maximum speed of 60 m/min.
The custom-engineered extrusion line is fully controlled by the Amut software developed in-house, including the user friendly EasyStart for the automatic plant start, and EasyChange for the automatic production change.
