Laffon, an Italian manufacturer of rigid injection-molded packaging for cosmetics, has been acquired by the Canadian industrial group Knowlton Development Corporation (kdc/one), a key supplier of products and packaging for beauty, personal care, and home care brands.

This acquisition strengthens kdc/one's packaging capabilities, a move initiated with the purchase of the HCT in 2020, to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving market where clients require partners with regional capabilities.

Founded in 1982, the specialist in makeup packaging manufacturing, Laffon, operates a plant near Milan (northern Italy) covering 4,000 square meters, with approximately 80 employees and an annual turnover of around 10 million euros. Its machinery fleet consists of 25 electric IMM with clamping forces of 150, 200, and 250 tons, some of which are integrated into five internally designed automatic decoration and assembly cells.
