Caprolactam and PA6 prices rise

Envalior has revised its price lists again due to “ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties”.

The increases apply with immediate effect in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, where the adjustment amounts to $526 per metric ton. Additional differentiated adjustments may apply to specific materials, depending on product requirements and market conditions.

Envalior attributed the decision to ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties, which continue to put pressure on global supply chains and the availability of critical inputs.
“Over the last weeks, ensuring consistent delivery performance has required increased operational efforts and additional cost-intensive measures across the value chain,” the company explained in a statement. “Despite continued efforts to manage these developments and maintain stability wherever possible, prevailing market conditions make it necessary to adjust pricing in order to ensure a reliable and sustainable supply to customers.”
