RadiciGroup sells plastics to Lone Star

Italy-based group to transfer its polyamide and engineering polymers division to private equity firm, shifting focus to textiles.

radici group High Performance PolymersRadiciGroup, the Italy-based industrial group, has announced a definitive agreement to sell its Specialty Chemicals and High Performance Polymers business units to a fund managed by Lone Star, a U.S. private equity firm.
The sale involves intermediates, polyamide, and engineering polymers, while the Advanced Textile Solutions segment will remain under the ownership of Radici’s current shareholders, including members of the founding family.

The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2025, subject to customary antitrust approvals.
