Now established as Europe’s leading event for the plastics recycling industry, the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) set a new attendance record in 2025, drawing more than 13,000 visitors over two days—2,000 more than the previous edition.
The show floor featured 500 exhibitors, while 75 speakers took turns presenting in the two conference halls.

“The positive vibe in the magnificent flagship Halls 1 and 5 of the RAI was absolutely tangible this year,” said Matt Barber, global events director at Crain Communications. “Even though we knew going into PRSE that it has been a difficult time for some players in the plastics recycling sector, the excitement and optimism at the show have been palpable. The halls were buzzing with the exchange of ideas and business being done, and there was a confidence that the wealth of innovations on show will catalyze further growth in the circular use of plastic.”

Ton Emans, president of Plastics Recyclers Europe, also expressed satisfaction with the event’s outcome: “Anyone interested in plastics recycling, whether from politics, science, academia, or active players like brand owners, converters, producers or recyclers, should come to this show, which is now firmly established as the largest in the world,” he said. “We have brought together leading experts in the two conference theatres and exhibitors with world-class innovations to improve the plastics recycling value chain.”

The event also hosted the announcement of the winners of the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe, which recognize excellence and innovation in plastics recycling (see article).

The dates for the next edition have already been confirmed: the 10th PRSE will take place in Amsterdam on May 5–6, 2026.
In the meantime, three sister events are scheduled in Dubai (Sept. 15–17, 2025), Mumbai (Nov. 13–15, 2025), and Singapore (March 17–18, 2026).
