Italian compound manufacturer LATI will produce engineering thermoplastics in India with an annual capacity of around 20,000 tons, thanks to a joint venture with the Indian group Loxim, which has contributed its Engineering Compounds division.
The new entity will operate as Lati-Loxim Thermoplastics Private Limited.

The new company combines the technological expertise of LATI—one of Europe’s leading independent engineering plastics compounders—with Loxim’s well-established local presence, significant penetration in automotive and electrical markets, and an extensive sales network across India.

At its Varese facilities in northern Italy, Lati Industria Termoplastici currently has an annual production capacity of 40,000 metric tons, generating revenues of around 153 million euros with just under 300 employees.
