The German company K.D. Feddersen Distribution, a specialist in plastics and engineering polymers, is strengthening its presence in Southern Europe with the opening of a new subsidiary in Porto, Portugal, under the name K.D. Feddersen Unipessoal.

To further enhance logistics and delivery capabilities, the company plans to open a warehouse in the Porto metropolitan area by the end of the year.

“The establishment of K.D. Feddersen Unipessoal, Lda in Porto is a decisive step in our European growth strategy,” said Stephan Schnell, managing director of K.D. Feddersen. “With our new presence in Portugal, we will significantly improve our service and our offering in Southern Europe together with our partners – to the benefit of our customers in this region.”

The product portfolio offered by K.D. Feddersen Unipessoal includes engineering plastics from partners such as Celanese, Ascend, Trinseo, Teijin, Hyosung, Aurora, Skytech and BIO-FED, complemented by the specialized application development services of the affiliated company M.TEC Engineering.
