Nu-Vu Conair, a company controlled by the Italian Piovan Group, has expanded its facility in Ahmedabad, in the Gujarat region of India, adding nearly 5,600 square meters to accommodate new assembly lines and a logistics center for shipping.
The expansion will allow Nu-Vu Conair to meet growing demand and reduce delivery times.
Piovan acquired a 51% stake in Nu-Vu Conair earlier this year. The company, a joint venture established in 2007 by Conair (now part of the Italy-based group) and Nu-Vu Engineers, is active in the design, production, and sale of automation solutions for the production of technical polymers in India, a country undergoing rapid modernization.
Nu-Vu Conair employs about 250 people and generates revenue of more than €20 million.
